Our Mission: "Helping school aged children grow in body, mind and spirit during their out of school time by providing enriching activities in a safe, familiar and non-evaluative environment." ENRICHTHEKIDS, INC- AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM Our goal is to provide a safe AND enriching environment for our students during their out of school hours (from 2:30 to 6:00). The After School Program is a two part program. First, providing after school care that includes homework help and mentoring. Second we offer enrichment classes to the entire school community for 8 weeks in Fall and two 6 week sessions in the Spring. Enrichment Classes are a mandatory part of the after school routine. Enrichment flyers will be sent home when it is closer to time for classes to start. To register for Enrichment classes, you will need come to registration night or send in the registration form with your child before classes begin. You will have special registration forms to show that you are exempt from paying for classes. When Enrichment is not in session we will have many varied and interesting activities for the children to enjoy. This time is meant to be fun and enriching at the same time! Please inform your child’s classroom teacher that they will be attending our program. We will meet the children in the cafeteria at 2:30. During the school year, the program cost is $50 per week. That includes a healthy snack, an Enrichment class every day (while Enrichment is in progress) and a safe comfortable environment for your child with caregivers who are in compliance with the LCPS policy on FBI Background Checks and have been CPR Certified and First Aid Trained. Payment for services is due on the first of the month or at the beginning of the week. Non-payment will result in your child being dis-enrolled from the program. There will be no childcare available on days when the school is closed, since the program takes place on campus and will have nowhere to go on National Holidays or School Break periods. Care may be available on ½ days and full days off when the school building is available for us to use. On those days, special events will be coordinated to occupy the kids for longer periods of time.
