| We are now hiring Enrichment Instructors and After School Program Caregivers! To work in the LCPS on any level you must fill out a volunteer packet and have the FBI Background Clearance done prior to your first day of work. We are looking for instructors to teach interesting and enriching subjects to our students. We need instructors for science and math, language & social studies, as well as sports and other hobbies. If the class material is enriching and you feel confident teaching it, we will consider it for a class. You may not have a class idea but you really love working with children; we can help! We have loads of class ideas and can help you build lesson plans! The pay for this job starts at 15.00 per class day, based on experience and ability to fill a class. We are also looking for After School Program Caregivers. When Enrichment is not in session the hours are 2:15-6 PM. During Enrichment sessions the hours are 4:00 - 6:00 PM and when some non pupil days. Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly environment for our students who need a place to be until their parents can pick them up. We will offer activities such as arts and crafts, gardening projects & homework assistance. We will also bring in special guests for fun workshops. These jobs require people with patience and genuine respect and admiration for children. You must also be self motivated and enthusiastic about working with our students.
